HEAVY DUTY CONCRETE WATERPROOFING

UrbanSeals Heavy Duty Water Repellent is the “Work-Horse” product of the UrbanSeals line. This clear concrete sealer is the best driveway sealer because it is ideally suited for use on concrete where chloride ion protection is needed including driveways and sidewalks. This proprietary blend of silanes and siloxanes creates a permeable saltshield barrier on concrete surfaces, for greater resistances to the deteriorating effects of road salts and de-icing chemicals. This superior concrete waterproofing product is a great choice for both horizontal and vertical above grade surfaces including driveways, sidewalks, adobe, architectural concrete, clay brick, mortars, natural stone, limestone, sandstone, granite, terra cotta, exposed aggregate products, Portland cement stuccos, and concrete masonry units. Once we apply this product it is breathable, non-film forming, non slip and will not alter the surface color or appearance.

CLEAR CONCRETE SEALER WITH LONG-TERM WATER PROTECTION

Other waterproofing sealers form a film on the surface and trap water vapors, UrbanSeals V.O.C. compliant concrete water proofer penetrates concrete and masonry up to ¼” or more depending on surface porosity and moisture content at the time of application. It reacts with the minerals in the concrete and masonry in the presence of ultraviolet light and atmospheric moisture. This reaction forms strong permanent bonds beneath the surface and creates a hydrophobic zone that prevents water molecules from penetrating, while allowing free migration of water vapors. The chemical bonds formed during this process become an integral part of the substrate making the treated concrete or masonry 30% stronger and provides long-term water repellent protection without altering the surface appearance.

Moisture, from either internal or external sources, is usually present in concrete and masonry. Film-forming sealers and silicone coatings form a water resistant surface that traps water vapors inside. If these vapors cannot escape, they will contribute to spalling, scaling, deterioration and freeze-thaw damage. UrbanSeals Water or Solvent Base Water Repellent is 100% vapor permeable, a non film-forming water repellent that penetrates and lines masonry and concrete pores.

URBANSEALS ORIGINAL SYNTHETIC WOOD STAIN

Water and sunlight rob wood of its natural strength and beauty. Wet and dry cycles cause wood to expand and contract which leads to warping, swelling and checking. Sunlight breaks down wood cells causing them to turn gray and become susceptible to water penetration and decay. Fortunately, this deterioration can easily be prevented with proper care and application of UrbanSeals water repellant.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

UrbanSeals Synthetic Water Repellent Wood Stain is a unique water-based system that protects wood without damaging the environment. Most wood finishes are formulated with natural oils, such as linseed or soya that serve as a food source for mold and mildew. But the synthetic resins in UrbanSeals give it superior mold and mildew resistance without using excessive fungicides.

SUPERIOR TECHNOLOGY

UrbanSeals is a water repellent that penetrates deeply and adheres to wood pores while allowing water vapors to escape. This advantage enables UrbanSeals Wood Stains to expand and contract without cracking or peeling. UrbanSeals contains UV blockers that last longer than those in any comparable wood finish. Lumber treated with UrbanSeals leave wood with the rich look of fine furniture. UrbanSeals is a non-film forming system that completely disappears into the pores of wood and does not provide a film to support the growth of mildew and bacteria spores. The net effect is wood treated with UrbanSeals will not weather at near the rate of untreated wood or wood treated with typical organic stains and sealers.
